Crimping dies "Wirefy-ICD-F" and "Wirefy-ICD-B1" should be used with 9 inch crimping tool (Wirefy-CRMP-ND-9), as they require higher crimping leverage.
Wirefy Individual Crimping Dies For Insulated Nylon, Heat Shrink Connectors, Nylon Flag, Non Insulated, Anderson, Open Barrel, Ferrule, Coaxial Cable and MC4 Solar Terminals, Miniature Insulated Terminals, Heat Shrink Butt Connectors
The tension of the crimping tool is set to the max. Comparing to my other (pretty high-end) crimping tools it seems to be set far too high. I had to take it two levels down but such adjustments should not be necessary for a new tool.
The case is nice but the there is no retention mechanism to keep the jaws in the lower part in place. They are just falling out when not careful.
The boxes in the upper part are nice for additional jaws but they are incredibly hard to take out to the point of braking them. I already broke a couple of them so I have no good way to store my additional jaws there.
The selection of jaws seems random, at least to me. For the 8 pcs you offer A, A4, A5, B, C, D. For the 11 pcs you offer A, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, B and B1. Where are the C and D in the 11 piece set???? C and D are pretty important.
It would be niece to have some labeling for the "boxes" in the upper half so you quickly know what is in those plastic boxes. It could be as simple as providing some stickers that you can attach below the plastic boxes.
Why do I have to pay that much extra for a crimper that has a handle that is half an inch longer and has an additional angle? And then I have to buy all those jaws that are no use to me because that doesn't include the C and D jaws.
Truly impressed about the professionalism and the strong culture of the company towards customer’s satisfaction.
Great set but wish it had came with smaller pliers 👍
